• Paul Montreuil’s 6th grade science class at Wayside Middle School has been studying space. As a grand finale to their
unit, Bernard Suchocki, a retired NASA instructor who taught the Apollo astronauts, including Neil Armstrong, for 14 years
came and spoke to the students. He shared a very informative presentation that included experiments, video, and a question
and answer period. This very interesting and knowledgeable speaker was just one way that Mr. Montreuil works to bring
science to life for his students. He is also one of the counselors at Camp Goddard, which is a week-long, annual, science based camp for 6th grade students.
